Welcome to QANSTRU. By purchasing a credit pack or otherwise using our data-scraping APIs, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using QANSTRU, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. The Service

QANSTRU provides programmatic access (APIs) to data scraped from public third-party sources. Service availability is provided on an as-available basis. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy or completeness of any third-party data returned by the APIs.

3. Credit Packs — One-Time Purchases

Each credit pack comes with a fixed quota of records, API calls or jobs:

• Credits do not expire while your account remains active.
• To obtain more credits, purchase another pack.
• See our Refund Policy for how unused credits can be refunded on a pro-rata basis within 30 days of purchase.

4. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• Keeping your API keys confidential
• Ensuring your use of scraped data complies with all applicable laws (including GDPR, CCPA and equivalent privacy regulations)
• Complying with the terms of service, robots.txt and acceptable-use policies of any third-party site you scrape through our APIs
• Any downstream consequences of data you retrieve or publish

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use QANSTRU to:

• Violate any law or third-party right (including intellectual property and privacy rights)
• Send spam, harass or impersonate any individual
• Build datasets for the purpose of facial recognition, surveillance or similar intrusive use cases
• Resell or sublicense raw API output as a competing data product
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, security controls or anti-abuse mechanisms

6. No Guarantees

We provide the API infrastructure and the credit accounting. We do not guarantee specific data quality, freshness or coverage of any target source. The effectiveness of scraping depends on the target site, your request patterns and many factors outside our control.

7. Limitation of Liability

QANSTRU and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service, including lost profits, data loss or business interruption.

8. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, threatens the integrity of our systems, or exposes us or third parties to legal or financial risk. Unused credits may be forfeited upon termination for cause.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by posting an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
